The Phoenix - mythical symbol of re-generation. I have used a combination of transparent and opaque glass, including an iridised cobalt blue that does justice to the phrase 'The shining bird of fable'. The base is solid beech with stainless steel fittings. |

Copper foiled panel with back lighting, a design based on cell structure. This panel is made up of interlocking hexagonal glass pieces. The pieces radiate from a slumped disc set within. Transparent glass enamels provide interesting textural surface decoration. |
